Moogaman.com: Google 411

I just called it, and I will SO use this from now on! There's no ads, and after you say your city/state, you can say the exact listing (like Blockbuster) or a category (like video stores). Even if you just say Blockbuster, it gave me eight Blockbusters in Warrensburg and the surrounding areas. I like goog-411 'cause you have different options. When it listed all of the Blockbusters, it gave me exact addresses. If you just call 411 and they don't answer/not in business anymore/whatever, you have to call again and spend more money to get a different number.

    Good find Tony!

Thank the guys at Cranky Geeks for cluing me in.

What about if you want to actually call the place you're looking for? Can you do that?

Another google tool for cell phones is to text an inquiry to "googl"
For example "Where is Pizza Hut in ?"
It'll text you back the answer.

that google tool is good, but I don't have text messaging (my sister abused it), so I like the Google 411. You can also look up a business on Google Maps and have it call your phone and connect you for free. Check it out, it's the call link under each business.
