I think you should just go to his house. If he won't return your calls, and you really want an answer/explanation/solution to all of this, just go over there and try to talk to him. He might be pissed that you showed up and tell you it's over, but atleast you will know, and you can try to deal with it and move on, instead of the slow torture you are going through now. Who knows, he might be okay with it and let you in to talk to him. Holly should be at work, so hopefully he will let you in, and you guys can talk by yourselves, which is how it should be anyway. Both choices have good and bad consequences, but atleast if you go over there and he actually says something, anything, to you, you will have some sort of an answer and know what to do/where to go from that.

My opinion: It's time to start considering cutting your losses. This gets to be not worth it right about...now. You need only waste your time on someone who would in turn waste their time on you. It looks like you stopped getting anything positive out of this arrangement a while back. Good luck my dear.

I don't know everything about this situation, but from what I do know, I would have to agree with Lexy here. I went through something very similar to this when I still lived in Colorado. It sucked hard core, but in the end I am glad that I did not have to waste anymore time, energy, or love on someone who could not return the favor! Just remember this will pass, and you will move on, with or without John.

For the past 3 nights I've had weird dreams everything was ok between all of us - Tony, me, John, and Holly. Every time I wake up really happy that everything is alright, then confused, wondering if it really happened. Then I realize that it was just a dream and get a little sad.
Point being...I very much understand how hard it is to let this stuff go - because IT won't let ME go. Why can't I stop caring about people who have made it pretty damned obvious they don't care about me?
There have been a few times in my life where various circumstances have absolutely convinced me that events proceed they way they do for a reason. I wish whatever good is supposed to come out of this would reveal itself, it would make things easier. Chances are that won't happen, we just have to go on faith. Stay strong, and remember the friends you have that actually give a shit.
